Thank you so much for visiting. ♥ Since I joined the shrining community by peeking into Amassment in November of 2016, this project has been something I've wanted to offer the community, in the hopes of providing an opportunity for others to speak about themselves and, perhaps, for others who share my interest in these personal essays to be able to view them side-by-side.
Please feel free to use one of the images below to link to FAVE, wherever you feel is appropriate. And, if you're big on free time, please also feel free *sweatdrop* to donate some. Buttons are my least favorite thing.
- This is a project maintained by hand, rather than by using a database and script.
- Errors are therefore quite possible. Please let me know if you spot them.
- This is not meant to replace the thoughtful essays that many shrines already feature on what makes them special to the creator; this is meant to complement them, and to allow for a review of several such essays from different creators.
Tank Girl is all over this layout, mostly because I've always wanted to play with her imagery (I've always loved the punk mess of the comics) but don't think I could commit to a shrine. I don't own her, and I don't claim to.
The distressed halftone patterns are from this pack, while the fonts used are Generica, Arual, and Google's Zilla Slab. The various shapes are lazily drawn by me, though the hand gestures used in the bullets and favicon come from Zlatko Najdenovski's Gestures icon pack.
